Getting Started - Training Setup

The Evolve Learning Manager LMS that will deliver the training courses to your staff is a powerful yet user-friendly system.  Because we deliver the system as a hosted service, setting up the training for your organization and learners is simple and can be accomplished in a matter of days since there is no hardware or software to install.  You determine the courses your employees with take and we:

  • Create the course catalogs,
  • Import learners in the LMS,
  • Register learners into their courses,
  • Conduct administrator training
  • Provide ongoing customer support.

Phase I

We provide you an MS Excel spreadsheet to create accounts for all your learners, establish their security role, department, username, password, email address and training group.  You complete the spreadsheet with the information for all learners and email it back to us.  We'll import your learners into the LMS and register them for their courses using the Bulk Upload module.  This eliminates manual data entry of learners and speeds the setup process; allowing you to achieve a quicker return on your investment.

Automatic email messages

A New User email can be sent to all students with an email address when they are imported into the LMS.  Your students will receive an email message that includes the link to the system, instructions on logging in to the LMS, their Username and password and any other information you wish to communicate. 

Full system setup usually takes about 1-2 days after receiving your information.

Phase II

Administrator Training

We'll provide training to your training administrator via a web session.  This training is an interactive online session consisting of an explanation of the LMS functionality you will use.  It is targeted to the customer personnel who will be responsible for the administrator functions of the LMS. 

Phase III

Support

You can reach us via email for support requests during normal business hours from from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday except on recognized national holidays.

Branding (Optional setup)

Customers can optionally select having their own branded training portal.   If you have elected to have your own branded training portal we'll create it with your logo, colors, and welcome message.  Additionally, all emails sent from the LMS can be customized and will be from your training administrator.  These emails include new user email and course completion reminder emails.
